Music Branding
Music branding is suitable for S/M businesses, NGOs, clubs, groups, or societies. Branded music is a great way to stand out with your own distinctive and original music to use across all your digital platforms, intro/outro music for videos or podcasts, hold music, waiting room music etc. Custom songs are a unique way to celebrate an campaign, special event, or milestone.

FAQ
A standard personalised custom song package is $197. This includes an initial briefing, songwriting with original music and lyrics (2 verses + chorus), mixing, and mastering. Songs are between 2.5 and 3 minutes in length. Vocals are sung and recorded by me (Jo). You will receive 2 finished versions of the song, 1 with vocals and 1 without vocals.
Additional costs (and time) apply if I need to hire a session singer or session musician. Non standard prices are quoted on application only.
For the standard basic custom song package it's typically around 5 business days after our one-to-one briefing. You'll get a chance to hear the song before the final production. Non-standard packages are likely to take at least 15-20 business days.
All songs that require vocals will be written and sung by Jo Brew (i.e. female vocals). I have access to professional male and female session singers if you would like a different singer. Please note that this will incur an additional cost.
Keep in mind that you will get an instrumental version (no vocals) included with your purchase and you are welcome to add vocals yourself. While recording vocals can be done using free software such as Garageband for iOS or Audacity for PC, they require a good quality microphone and some basic recording skills.
Standard song packages can be in the style of modern contemporay pop, rock, blues, or country. Songs can be slow, uptempo, or whatever you wish. Details are finalised before the project begins. Other styles such as reggae, jazz, or classical/strings, can be negotiated on application as they will require hiring session singers and/or musicians.
I retain copyright over the words and music of the song, howver the song will be yours to do with as you please. You own the recording and therefore you may sell it and/or place it on a streaming service, website, or any other digital platform you like. This makes you the publisher so any revenue earned from the song must be split 50/50 between the publisher [i.e. you] and the copyright holder [i.e. me/Jo Brew]. You will receive a signed publisher certificate with your song outlining your usage rights.

Good question! Your song will be written by myself, Jo Brew. I am an Australian producer, songwriter, singer. I have written recorded and relased original music since 1994 and have a Major in Music Technology from the University of Queensland. You can hear my orginal music using the links on the Home page and some custom songs in the gallery below.
I also have access to professional session singers and session musicians if required/requested. Please note that this is not included in the standard package. I can produce a fully tailored song to your exact requirements.
